Hello there, welcome to my website! 

I’m Lyn.  I’m a Massage Therapist, Yoga Teacher, and Wellbeing Guide. 

I offer individualized attention and an integrative body/mind approach combining all of the holistic techniques I have learned over many years. 

My wish is to help bring long-lasting transformations, enabling you to become more balanced, calm, centered and clear.  

I recently completed the wonderful BeActivated 123 training.  This training has added another crucial dimension to my treatments and can be integrated into a Thai Massage or oils massage,  or used as a stand alone therapy depending on your needs. I am here to help you with the  various aches and pains, stresses and strains that we all encounter from time to time in our busy lives.   Whatever it is you need,  there will be a therapy here to suit you.  All are deeply therapeutic and work on many levels – physically, emotionally and energetically.

Sometimes the best therapy is just gifting yourself  some quality “me” time….. a chance to let go,  drift away, leave the stresses of the day behind, and completely relax… We all need to make the time for vital self care!

Holistic therapies treat the whole person, and understand that everything is connected.  Whether you are recovering from an injury, suffering with chronic illness/pain/stress, or have everyday aches and pains, the treatments I offer are proven to be very effective.  With over 30 years experience in many healing modalities, and always learning from my peers, I’m sure I will be able to help you. 

If you wish, there can be takeaway practices for you to continue the good work at home, so you may feel empowered and have a greater understanding of your health and well being. 

The things we do everyday will have the greatest impact on our health – physically and mentally.  I can help you to better understand your unique needs at this time in your life and help you create a sustainable daily routine.

Therapies can be combined depending upon your needs on the day… we can play it by ear!  I look forward to welcoming you to my peaceful Sunny Studio here in lovely Wooler.   

If you are unable to come to Wooler for your session, I am happy to come to your home for a minimum of 2 hours. A small travel charge may apply.

Mindful Movement – Yoga with Lyn

Wednesday – The Cheviot Centre Wooler    6pm – 7.30pm

Fridays – The Cheviot Centre Wooler           10am – 11.30 am

All classes are slow, gentle and subtle, focusing on synchronising the breath with movement to relax the body, soothe the nervous system and calm the mind.  Suitable for beginners and seasoned Yogis alike.  I would be delighted to see you!

A bespoke practice designed to suit your unique self at this time in your life.  With ongoing support and 1:1 sessions, or class teaching,  it is possible to overcome many acute and chronic physical and emotional disorders by practicing slow mindful Yoga and relaxation techniques.

Today I got dressed standing up…..I know, no biggie for most people but for the first time in
nearly 4 years I could dress myself without pain.
The treatment BeActivated 123 may not be the cure all for the Long Covid I have been suffering, the fatigue and energy crashes still have to be managed carefully through pacing and “radical resting”, as well as continuing the raft of supplements and brain-based exercises I have been using; however I would have given just about anything to have just one day, one hour or even one minute without the pain of bodily inflammation caused by Long Covid.
I experienced pain in just about every nerve, joint and fibre of my body, sometimes very little, sometimes to an almost unbearable level. There seemed no rhyme or reason, the pain went where it wanted, and made movement virtually impossible without prescription medication.
I gradually weaned myself off as many of the medications as I could as I became more aware that the medical profession were equally in the dark as I and were simply offering palliative treatments. I wanted more, I wanted to feel I had some control over my body and my life.
And so to Lyn. I already knew Lyn as a very special yoga teacher and therapist, even so, it took me a while to consider that the BeActivated 123 treatment could be for me as I had by then become cynical that any intervention could help. I was encouraged by a friend who had had good results having had the treatment, and so I went.
Lyn proved to me that my body could and would respond if activated in the correct way, the treatment was robust and thorough and all the while Lyn talked me through what was happening and why. She held a safe space for me to feel…pain, emotion, relief.
I left her feeling like I was learning to walk afresh, hold myself correctly, treat myself with more care and respect….and I could manage stairs.
Today I got dressed standing up….and it wasn’t until I was putting the kettle on that I realised I had trundled down the stairs without a second thought.
