Hello there, welcome to my website!

I’m Lyn and I’m a Holistic Massage Therapist, Yoga Teacher,  ThaiVedic Yoga practitioner and lover of nature – living life in the slow lane.  I hope you will find something here to interest and inspire you…

A grand adventure is about to begin – Winnie the Pooh

I’m heading off to Thailand shortly to the beautiful island of Koh Phagnan.  I will be doing a month long Yoga course there with some wonderful teachers!  I’m feeling grateful for this opportunity to focus on myself for some time, and to bring back some precious gifts to share with you all.  I’m leaving February 22nd and returning to work the w/c April 8th. I will be answering messages when time and wifi allows, , and will have my diary with me to arrange your appointments!

Both Yoga classes will continue as usual with the lovely Karen kindly taking over as teacher whilst I’m away.

I love a good walk!

I am here to help you with the  various aches and pains, stresses and strains that we all encounter from time to time in our busy lives. I look forward to welcoming you to my home studio here in lovely Wooler – or visiting you in your home at your convenience.

Whatever it is you need,  there will be a therapy here to suit you.  All are deeply therapeutic and work on many levels – physically, emotionally and energetically. Therapies can be combined in an organic and intuitive way depending upon your needs on the day… we can play it by ear!

Bodywork and Yoga are forms of kinesthetic communication – we learn as we move. We speak to the nervous system, the emotions and to memory, always in an open, two-way dialogue. The work is equal parts listening and movement, finding the ebb and flow in the tissues and their inherent plasticity.

 1:1 Yoga

A bespoke practice designed to suit your unique self at this time in your life.  With ongoing support and 1:1 sessions, or class teaching,  it is possible to overcome many acute and chronic physical and mental disorders by practicing slow and mindful Yoga.

Mindful Movement – Yoga with Lyn

Chatton Village Hall on Tuesdays 1 – 2.30pm

The Cheviot Centre Wooler on Wednesdays 6 – 7.30pm

Both classes are slow and gentle, focusing on using the breath with movement to relax the body, soothe the nervous system and calm the mind.  Suitable for beginners and seasoned Yogis alike.  I would be delighted to see you at either.

We all have busy lives so classes are offered on a drop-in basis, just pay as you go! £8 per session.

Slow down and enjoy life.  It’s not just the scenery you miss by going too fast – you also miss the sense of where you are going and why.   Eddie Cantor
