Hello there, welcome to my website! 

I’m Lyn.  I’m a Massage Therapist, Yoga Teacher, and Wellbeing Guide. 

I offer individualized attention and an integrative body/mind approach combining all of the holistic techniques I have learned over many years. 

My wish is to help bring long-lasting transformations, enabling you to become more balanced, calm, centered and clear.  

I recently completed the wonderful BeActivated 123 training.  This training has added another crucial dimension to my treatments and can be integrated into a Thai Massage or oils massage,  or used as a stand alone therapy depending on your needs. I am here to help you with the  various aches and pains, stresses and strains that we all encounter from time to time in our busy lives.   Whatever it is you need,  there will be a therapy here to suit you.  All are deeply therapeutic and work on many levels – physically, emotionally and energetically.

Sometimes the best therapy is just gifting yourself  some quality “me” time….. a chance to let go,  drift away, leave the stresses of the day behind, and completely relax… We all need to make the time for vital self care!

Holistic therapies treat the whole person, and understand that everything is connected.  Whether you are recovering from an injury, suffering with chronic illness/pain/stress, or have everyday aches and pains, the treatments I offer are proven to be very effective.  With over 30 years experience in many healing modalities, and always learning from my peers, I’m sure I will be able to help you. 

If you wish, there can be takeaway practices for you to continue the good work at home, so you may feel empowered and have a greater understanding of your health and well being. 

The things we do everyday will have the greatest impact on our health – physically and mentally.  I can help you to better understand your unique needs at this time in your life and help you create a sustainable daily routine.

Therapies can be combined depending upon your needs on the day… we can play it by ear!  I look forward to welcoming you to my peaceful Sunny Studio here in lovely Wooler.   

If you are unable to come to Wooler for your session, I am happy to come to your home for a minimum of 2 hours. A small travel charge may apply.

Mindful Movement – Yoga with Lyn

Wednesday – The Cheviot Centre Wooler    6pm – 7.30pm

Fridays – The Cheviot Centre Wooler           10am – 11.30 am

All classes are slow, gentle and subtle, focusing on synchronising the breath with movement to relax the body, soothe the nervous system and calm the mind.  Suitable for beginners and seasoned Yogis alike.  I would be delighted to see you!

1:1 Yoga

A bespoke practice designed to suit your unique self at this time in your life.  With ongoing support and 1:1 sessions, or class teaching,  it is possible to overcome many acute and chronic physical and emotional disorders by practicing slow mindful Yoga and relaxation techniques.

Lyn introduced me to the BeActivated 123 treatment several months ago and I must say, the effects have been astonishing.

It involves the activation (by applying pressure) of neuro-lymphatic zones throughout the body allowing much greater, freer and more comfortable movement.
I had a lot of pain, tension and stiffness in my hips and lower back which was having a detrimental impact on my life, my ability to move or do any exercise.
However, after a thorough assessment and treatment with Lyn, plus her support in creating a daily routine for me, I can honestly say I am much more mobile and, amazingly, pain free!
This system really works!!

Adding in the breathing really helps in working through the pain, allowing your body to relax and release tension. For the first time in many months, I am pain free, comfortably mobile and have a sense of control over my own health, all through Lyn’s therapy, teaching and support. I can walk, cycle, do yoga and my gardening without needing a week to recover!

Lyn is an intuitive and increasingly experienced practitioner of this amazing technique and I recommend both as highly as possible.
