I’m Lyn.  I’m a Massage Therapist, Yoga Teacher, and Ayurvedic practitioner.

I work in an intuitive style, offering individualized attention and an integrative body/mind approach to help bring long-lasting transformations.  Helping you become more balanced, calm, centered and clear.

I am here to help you with the  various aches and pains, stresses and strains that we all encounter from time to time in our busy lives.   Whatever it is you need,  there will be a therapy here to suit you.  All are deeply therapeutic and work on many levels – physically, emotionally and energetically.

Sometimes the best therapy is just treating yourself to some quality “me” time….. a chance to let go,  drift away and completely relax…

Holistic therapies treat the whole person, and understand that everything is connected.  Whether you are recovering from an injury, suffering with chronic illness/pain/stress, or have everyday aches and pains, the treatments I offer are proven to be very effective.  With over 20 years experience in many healing modalities, I’m sure I will be able to help you. 

If you wish, there can be takeaway practices for you to continue the good work at home, so you may feel empowered and have a greater understanding of your health and well being from an Ayurvedic  perspective.

Therapies can be combined depending upon your needs on the day… we can play it by ear!  I look forward to welcoming you to my peaceful Sunny Studio here in lovely Wooler.

If you are unable to come to Wooler for your session, I am happy to come to your home for a minimum of 2 hours. A small travel charge may apply.

Mindful Movement – Yoga with Lyn

Tuesday –  Chatton Village Hall 10 – 11.30am

Wednesday – The Cheviot Centre Wooler  6pm – 7.30pm

Both classes are slow, gentle and subtle, focusing on synchronising the breath with movement to relax the body, soothe the nervous system and calm the mind.  Suitable for beginners and seasoned Yogis alike.  I would be delighted to see you!

1:1 Yoga

A bespoke practice designed to suit your unique self at this time in your life according to the principles of Ayurveda.  With ongoing support and 1:1 sessions, or class teaching,  it is possible to overcome many acute and chronic physical and mental disorders by practicing slow mindful Yoga and relaxation techniques.

Improving your health and wellbeing

I visited Lyn a few weeks back for my first Thai Yoga Massage and have been trying to formulate the correct review ever since. It’s not easy to describe adequately the feeling of complete relaxation and utter peace I got from this incredible experience. I’m a woman of mature years with more than my share of health issues – which pretty much dictate what I can and can’t do. Having had various massages in the past I’ve found that after about 40 mins I’m fidgety and wondering what I’ve got in the fridge for our supper….. 

I had 1.5 hours of pure – and this is where I struggle – relaxed, at-one-with-everything, blissful just ‘being’. Her training and indeed natural ability allows much more than just your average treatment. It has been for me a revelation and all I could think of as we neared the end 😢 is that I NEED to have this in my life. 

I’m a glass half empty person due in part to a health condition, but I drove home thinking I could once again tackle Weetwood bank!  My body and mind was refreshed and ready to go – almost! 

I heartily recommend this to all of you out there who need to reconnect with that person you know you can be. Try it!
