Yoga Retreat Day in Ingram Valley

Lyn’s recent yoga retreat day in Ingram Village Hall was a brilliantly organised and joyous event: a mix of yoga, qigong, walking, breath practice, rest, laughter, meditation and chanting. The venue is comfortable and cosy at any time of year, but the bonus of a beautiful summer’s day meant we had lunch, tea and cake in the garden, plus a short ramble along the valley. We packed a lot into the day, but always with an atmosphere of peace, community, fun and positivity.

Lyn teaches slow, mindful yoga, promoting relaxation, self-awareness and the connection between mind and body. Her approach is warm, generous and inclusive. She has an exceptional ability to create an atmosphere of community and well-being, finding ways throughout the day for each of us move easily, whatever our aches or limitations.

I went home feeling calm and light, more able to let go of unnecessary niggles and worries. Yoga is said to be good for the mind, body and spirit and anyone on Lyn’s recent retreat day would surely have agreed.
