Hello Yogis. For this session we focus on bringing in the light through visualisation and opening the heart and lungs with our breath and flowing movement…
I encourage you to KEEP SMILING through the practice as it has an amazingly uplifting effect that you can feel in you body and spirit – and it’s just you in the room so it doesn’t matter if you look daft!
Energy is the vital, vibrating, moving force of nature that directly influences the quality of our health, happiness and aging process. In India vital life-force energy is called prana, and in Chinese it’s called qi (pronounced chee). Qi/Prana is associated with the breath because like the breath, it animates our body and brings it to life. When our vital qi is flowing, we feel healthy. When it is blocked we feel pain. When qi becomes weak, we feel tired. When there is no qi left, the body dies. So you can see that cultivating this rhythmic flow of breath and energy and movement is so important for our well being!
We mix Yoga with Qigong tapping (to strengthen and activate chi) and flowing movements in a continuous stream of body-based awareness that alternates between stillness and movement, yin and yang.

Hi Maureen . Oh I soooo miss you all and our gorgeous room! It’s very odd just me and the Iphone – and no music! Having an issue with being heard so I can’t play any tunes or you wouldn’t hear me at all! Week 3 coming up this afternoon, and I’ve played some lovely music at the end for your Savasana. Looking forward to seeing you all before tooo long XXX
